Foundation Update
We are still trying to raise money to be able to have a foundation here to be able to be established here for the long run.
Currently everything is just in my name, but there are a lot of limitations to that, not to mention dangers, and a foundation is necessary to be able to own land, have a organizational bank account, accept donations, open certain doors in the community, and not be dependent on other people and structures for visas.
Please pray for the $10,000 we need to be able to set this up. The breakdown is pretty simple. About 1/3 of that is for lawyer fees to be able to get all the paperwork written correctly in order to be set up with the government as a Foundation, but with Christian purposes. That will allow us the to do all that we need to do legally and independently.
The other 2/3 is a government required amount to hold in the foundation’s bank account at all times, and it can never be taken out or used. The purpose is to show financial viability, but even though we will technically still have that money, it becomes un-useable, and thus a large expense for starting the Foundation
English Outreach Report
We had a great 8 weeks of English outreach. We had 76 people register in all, and through the classes, we had many opportunities to establish some good relationships, share the Gospel, and see a lot of people come to church.
Many of the days we stayed long after classes were over in some pretty exciting Gospel conversations. Be praying for these and that God will continue working in their hearts!
Bible Classes
We have ~8 people people coming to our daily classes regularly and the Lord is really using the time to change lives. The foundational faith of our church is vital and I am really encouraged by the progress and growth that we see through these classes. We are also seeing others starting to be interested and coming off and on. Pray for these classes, as they are the most fruitful discipleship that we are able to do and the heart of our church.
We have even had 3 people move to live nearby the church in the last couple of weeks in order to be able to be more involved in these classes and the church!
Prayer Requests
- Along with all the great things the Lord is doing, pray with us about some opposition and obstacles we are facing. People are coming in to disturb services, disturbing classes, and throughout the week.
- Pray for some open doors to get into some local public schools here and hold an assemblies.
