Lori’s Mom was killed in a car wreck
This month was a heartbreaking one. Lori’s mother, along with 3 other of her extended family members died in a car crash in TX. We are very thankful that the Lord allowed Lori and the girls to spend the week prior to the wreck with their grandma—the first time after being apart for several years.

What is left of the vehicle after the wreck involving Lori’s mom
I was honored to preach Lori’s mom’s funeral and honor her amazing life and testimony. We are also grateful for the outpouring of prayers, concern and help for us and the family this month. It continues to be difficult for Lori, especially, but I am thankful to witness her take hold of His promises and be comforted. Celebrating the Resurrection was a little more meaningful this year. There are far too many to thank in this letter, but know that you have greatly blessed us this month.
Ministry Update—3rd Anniversary of the Church!
This month also brought the 3rd anniversary of Grace Baptist in Bangkok. We were blessed to see them celebrate and give testimony to what the Lord has done in their lives through the ministry of the church.
There were about 50 in attendance and they even wrote another new song to help express their praise! I am so proud of them and thankful for how the Lord is using them to reach their friends.
People who were not saved last year were participating in the services, including several people I have never even met. So, we praise the Lord for how the church continues to thrive without us.
Baptisms at Grace

Baptism’s at Grace!
A few weeks previous, they also had a baptism service to baptize the new believers!
Furlough Break and Traveling
It is nice to get a bit of a break from the heavy weight of leadership of the church, and attend our home church some. While I have done some preaching and teaching, it has been refreshing to be able to just attend some services with no real responsibilities.
We also continue to travel and report back to supporters and seek to raise support. This past month I was privileged to be in 9 churches, and are grateful to have picked up some new partners in ministry. Please continue to pray that the remaining days of our furlough will also be fruitful as well!
Yours for the Gospel in Thailand,
